Tool Mentor: Verifying a Web SitePurposeThis tool mentor describes how to verify a web site, to make sure that there are no broken links, language is correct, etc. OverviewCheck hyperlinksUsing Microsoft« FrontPage« Explorer, use the command Tools>Verify Hyperlinks.... This will verify that there are no broken links left. Other test tools can be used instead of, or as a complement, to FrontPage. Check spellingUsing Microsoft« FrontPage« Explorer, use the command Tools>Spelling.... to automatically check the spelling. Verify the treebrowserThe treebrowser is described in the file 'tree.dat', which is in the 'applet/tree.zip'. The treebrowser can be verified automatically. When you generate a new Process Overview Table (See Tool Mentor: Using the Rational Unified Process Tools), this is done with the applet/tree.dat file as input. This means that the Process Overview Table will have the hyperlinks that are in the "tree.dat" file.
